Picked up a copy of the new
Easy Star All-Stars album,
Radiodread, this weekend on a trip to Austin. The CD is a track-by-track, reggae version of
Radiohead's
OK Computer from the NYC crew who brought you
Dub Side of the Moon -- a track-by-track, reggae version of
Pink Floyd's
Dark Side of the Moon. It's pretty lightweight but totally worth the price alone for the legendary
Toots and the Maytals version of "Let Down". It really put a smile on my face. These guys have been favorites of mine for years and they make the song their own. Check it out.
